1. Acceptance

By signing up, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't sign up. The service is provided by Datacenter Firewall ("us") to your tenant organization ("you").

2. Service description

We provide a managed security control plane that ingests events from agents you install on your pfSense or Linux firewalls and:

3. Plans & billing

Billing is monthly via Razorpay. Plan upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades at next renewal. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice; existing subscriptions are honored until the next renewal at the old rate.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

5. Your responsibilities

6. Service levels

The Starter and Pro plans are best-effort. The Datacenter plan includes a 99.5% uptime SLA for the control plane (excluding scheduled maintenance) measured monthly. SLA credits, if earned, are applied to the next billing period as account credit, capped at 1 month of fees.

We don't SLA the on-firewall agent — that runs on your hardware and depends on your network. We do SLA the central control plane.

7. Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY. WE'RE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS CAPPED AT THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

You acknowledge that no security service catches every attack. The service complements but does not replace your own security practices, backups, and incident response.

8. Termination

You can cancel any time from /billing. Service continues until the end of the paid period. We may terminate for breach of section 4 (Acceptable Use) with notice proportional to the severity (immediate for active abuse; 30 days otherwise).

9. Data export on termination

Within 30 days of cancellation you can export your data (CSV via dashboard, JSON via API). After that, your data is hard-deleted. Soft-delete during this window is reversible by contacting us.

10. Indemnification

You indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of third-party rights through the service.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in [your city — fill in], India. The Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 apply where relevant.

12. Changes

Material changes to these terms are notified by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Material changes include price increases, new restrictions on use, or changes to liability caps.
